This textile is an amazing Vintage hand-woven hemp grain sack from Europe ~ this beautiful textile is hand woven using pure linen and a beautiful herringbone weave. The ground tone overall is a beautiful, warm natural tone with a red stripe.
Very thick, floppy linen with dense heavy weave. The texture is lovely, and has an unwashed with a nubby , heavy hand. This textile can be machine washed and tumbled dry which will make the texture more pliable. Dry cleaning too will make it more pliable! Ideal for so many uses! These wonderful grain sacks are ideal for upholstery projects, bolster pillows, pillows, table runners , dog beds, bath mats, place mats, you name it!
