Pattern extends around faceted base and on both sides of the tureen.
Stunning large English ironstone soup tureen from the 1930’s produced in Lisbon, Portugal by an English Factory, stamped “Fabrica de Alcantara”. This was a wedding gift to a couple who got married in Ontario in the 1930’s.
Dimensions: L 15.5” x 9.5” W x 5.5” H
In good antique condition with loads of patina and character. Plenty of discoloration and crazing! Just one small thin hair crack. For her age is is intact!
