RARE FIND!!
Beautiful heirloom quilt handcrafted by hand from the 1930-1940. Made in North Ontario, this quilt was made for the soldiers who fought in World War 2. It was put on their bed, so when they got home they would have a quilt that was made by their community to welcome them back from the war.
Scrapes Floral and pattern fabrics were used to create the geometric star shape.
This quilt was keep in a cedar storage box for many years. No stains or rips. In good condition for its age. White cotton backing all hand stitched. This quilt is a light quilt with some batting.
Dimensions: L79.5” x 64” W.
In good vintage condition, as founded. one or two small faint imperfections, commensurate with age | no odour. Has been washed!!!
