This is great quilt that has been given a second life. This oldie full of patina is stunning with her appliqued circular plates made of antique fabrics ‘petals’ from the 1930’s & 1940’s in shades of red, dark green and pink florals, arranged on a white quilted cotton background. She was hand quilted and machine quilted. She has a lovely green scalloped border. Lightweight quilt early C1940.
Dimensions: 82” x 78”
In good antique condition, as founded, She has been washed and stitched up in areas that the petals were loose. It took hours and love. She has soon small stains and the backing has some light yellow areas due to age and storage. Please see photos!
